Hillary, Hillary, Hillary

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110317/ap_on_re_us/us_clinton2nd_term

I must say I have not always been the biggest Hillary fan.  No one however can deny her brain and her tremendous success.  She has turned the perception of what women can do upside down.  She has arguably been the closest woman to sitting in the oval office ever in history.  And here she announces in 2012 she is done.  She even says she will not be defense secretary or consider the vice presidency.  Here, me, a not Hillary fan thinks Madam Secretary why not?  Run the army?  That would be awesome.  There has never been a woman lead the armed forces of the United States.  Then again, she is tired she survived eight years as a first lady, eight as a senator from New York and is now the top diplomat in the the U.S.  She is tired.  So, Hillary, you will probably never read this, but I am sad.  You could do it.  You could be president (I probably would not vote for you), but you could be.  This guy is sad you are not going to at least try.  The author did a great job simply reporting the facts with no opinion thrown in.

I will miss you Mrs. Clinton.  I cannot believe I just said that.

  1. Oh, Hillary. I am a little disappointed she won't be running for president. I thought she would be around a lot longer..that they would have to push her out the door. But, I suppose, like most of us, she has had enough of politics. I do like the non-bias point of view. Hard to do with political works.
