I think this author does a really good job of keeping things as simple as possible. There is a lot of stuff going on over there and the reporter gives as concise and put together information as they can. In a tragedy that involved a tsunami, an earthquake, and now a nuclear disaster there are so many different, multifaceted angels to cover.
I agree. The reporter gave a nice overview of things that are going on in Japan in effort to restore the country.
ReplyDelete"25,000 soldiers, 120 helicopters, and 65 ships will continue searching through Sunday. If U.S. forces spot bodies, they will point them out to the Japanese military rather than trying to retrieve them. So far, more than 11,700 deaths have been confirmed." I did find it interesting that the U.S. are not going to retrieve any bodies. I understand the reasoning though.
I agree about the writing style, it took a complex issue and laid it out in a way that most people could read and understand. Another thing that I liked about this article was the positive light it shed on our forces that are working there. In a time when alot of people have contempt, or even hate, for our military stories like this give a positive outlook on them. The author created this without any editorial comments or personal opinions.
